YAKERS find their origin in the hills of the Himalayas. Originally made for human consumption, they are still widely eaten by the Himalayan people and their Dogs. Made using the same trusted recipe as The Original YAKERS, but this time with added Mint for the freshest of breath.

Composition : Cow and Yak Milk (99.5%), Mint (0.4%), Lime Juice, Salt. Analytical Constituents : Crude Protein 60%, Crude Fats 5%, Crude Fibre 0.5%, Moisture 10%, Crude Ash 5%

Slightly confused!

I ordered this Yakers Mint Dog Chew for our springer spaniel who is a strong chewer, not having seen one before. I gave it to him to keep him quiet in his crate while we had visitors. When I looked afterwards I was surprised to find it in pieces in the crate. Some of the pieces were very hard and sharp and I panicked initially thinking I hadn't given him a chew but something dangerous! Reading up on it, you can soften the pieces in the microwave. I tried this and it took quite a long time but I may try giving him the microwaved pieces. Don't think I'll be buying it again.
