It is with great sadness that we have to inform you of the closure of Jurassic Bark Online Ltd. For all our incredibly loyal customers, we want to acknowledge that in recent months we have struggled to maintain the level of service you deserved.
Behind the scenes, we have been facing a series of very difficult challenges. In April last year, a website that had taken 4 years to build was eventually launched, but didn’t work and was taken down without our permission within one hour. This overtime resulted in a loss of over £1 million in turnover for us, and as a small business, this has caused severe operational setbacks. At the same time, our family run business has been dealing with personal tragedy and serious illness which has significantly impacted our ability to keep the business running as we always have.
Being a very small family business we have always prided ourselves on our familiar relationships with our customers, when things took a turn for the worst, it has been heart breaking for us to see this relationship based on reliance and trust break down. We have reached a point where for the sake of our customers and our own health we have to step back. This is not a decision we have taken lightly and it is deeply upsetting for us to bring something we built as a family to an end.
If you have not received your order, we strongly advise that you contact your bank to request a chargeback and they will be able to provide you with a refund in full.
We can’t express enough how sorry we are. This has been an incredibly emotional and difficult time for us and we are devastated that it has come to this. Thank you for your support, loyalty and kindness over the years, it has meant everything to us.
